Hot Texas nights are always in store for the strapping heroes and passionate ladies of Linda Lael Miller’s New York Times best-selling romances. In this chapter of her remarkable McKettricks saga, bull rider Austin returns home to Blue River a broken man—his career over and his love life in shambles. Paige and Austin together again
The reestablishment of Paige and Austin's relationship after many years of regret and portrayal. It was sweet how the situations they found themselves in regain the trust they had lost before and made their love stronger.
Paige was my favorite. I like that she stay strong through all her struggles and was able to open up to new possibilities.
I like the scene when Austin takes care of Paige's feet, by putting beniodine on them and then blowing on her feet to take the sting away.
Austin was the most memorable. He learned a lot after being thrown by the bull and having Paige back in his life. I like that he was kind to the animals and to the children in the family. He never belittle anyone.
I like this series, but the original McKettrick's series is better.
