Publisher's Summary

Nicholas Sparks brings back two characters from his beloved best seller, True Believer, in this continuing saga of extraordinary love. There are few things Jeremy Marsh was sure he'd never do: He'd never leave New York City; never give his heart away again after barely surviving one failed marriage; and most of all, never become a parent. Now, Jeremy is living in the tiny town of Boone Creek, North Carolina, married to Lexie Darnell, the love of his life, and anticipating the birth of their daughter. But just as his life seems to be settling into a blissful pattern, an unsettling and mysterious message re-opens old wounds and sets off a chain of events that will forever change the course of this young couple's marriage.

What the Critics Say

"It's majorly manipulative and totally effective. Have plenty of tissues on hand." (Publishers Weekly)

What a disappointment

I have read every book Nicholas Sparks has written and loved them. I felt with this one that he wanted to publish a book to meet a deadline and took the easiest way out. I didn't have that same feeling when I read "The Wedding" as a followup to "The Notebook". In this one he picked up where his last book, "True Believer" left off and spoiled the fondness the reader developed for his characters. Their behavior seemed contrived and annoying at times. Some of the language was also too sugary and sometimes seemed to go on a tangent. Although the ending is realistic, it was very disappointing too.

Finding Yourself

This started out a little slow but gained momentum. It was an extremely good listen, well narrated and as with all Sparks books very involving.

The jolt in the story leaves you in shock! Your have to wonder if miracles require payback.

It completely finishes True Believer....too completely to be sure!

Worth listening to, a story that lingers......
