Mi è piaciuto, credo che è interessante la storia. E la narrazione credo che è molto buona. Ho letto insieme il libro e mi è servito perché sto studiando italiano.

Lupo, pecora, o cane pastore?
Annie compie la sua scelta, quando la violenza di un senatore si abbatte su di lei: nessuno vuol riportare luce sugli angoli oscuri della propria vita, e il modo con cui rifiutarlo te lo suggerisce sempre la tua formazione. Non una buona idea, quindi, pestare i piedi ad una giovane dei bordelli di Hong Kong....
Un thriller che solletica la voglia di riscatto e di intransigenza verso i soprusi, un'eroina tutt'altro che senza macchia, ma che interpreta al meglio i valori del nativo Oriente e dell'adottivo Occidente. Tempi rapidi e interpretazione sempre coinvolgente

Banche, governi e corruzione
"Annie e il Senatore" è il secondo titolo di Robert McGee che ho ascoltato dopo "La TSA Contro il Popolo".
McGee cambia protagonisti, preferendo questa volta la brillante Annie Chan. Come nel suo precedente lavoro, il tema ricorrente è la corruzione e il marcio presenti all'interno del sistema governativo americano. Antagonista principale di questa opera è un corrotto senatore americano senza scrupoli che non si fermerebbe davanti a nulla pur di ottenere ciò che vuole, calpestando chiunque si trovi sul suo cammino.
Anche in questo caso l'autore offre una storia breve ma intensa, ideale per un ascolto rapido, presentando una forte escalation di eventi che non lascia andare l'ascoltatore nemmeno per un attimo.
