Her adventure places her in the thick of the fire and smoke at the Battle of Wilson's Creek, Missouri. Fought on August 10, 1861, it is the first battle of the Civil War. Sometimes called the "Bull Run" of the West. The Battle of Oak Hill, as it was called by the Confederates, was a victory for the South. It was fought at Wilson's Creek, a few miles from Springfield, Missouri.

Would you try another book from Mr. Meredith I. Anderson and/or Matt Guardabascio?

No. This book was repetitive, juvenile and poorly delivered.
