Publisher's Summary

All in God's Time is a warm novel of a wonderful woman who is fulfilled in her professional life but, on a personal level, believes that some people are destined to be single and, by the looks of things, that is God's plan for her. After taking some time off between traveling jobs, Meagan prays that God will send the next job soon. When He does, she feels it has to be a mistake. It's different. She's a professional x-ray tech, not a babysitter. Thankfully, her sister, Shelly, helps her see things in a different light.Coming to the conclusion this job is sent from God, Meagan accepts it and moves to an island off the coast of South Carolina. While there she finds herself enjoying things that in the past she didn't care for and new things she wishes could remain hers forever...three teenage girls and their father, Ryan Richardson, who just happens to own the hospital where she works.Could this be part of God's plan for her? The possibility appears too good to be true. Is it too late to find true love and a family of her own? Meagan must cling to the promise that everything will work out for the good...All in God's Time.

Vapid story and horrible narration...

Don't get me wrong; I'm all about waiting on God and for Him to bring about what He wants in my life, but this book was almost insulting. There was hardly any plot, other than, "the oldest daughter doesn't quite like me yet... he looked at me, held me and almost kissed me, does that mean he likes me?" I'm sorry, but as a 28 year old, I would like to think I have a little bit better grip on reality than to enjoy a book about how a 30 year old waited, and she got a millionaire doctor (hospital owner) out of nowhere. Instead of a feeling of sweet contentment I usually get out of these kinds of books (ie, easy listens, fun romantic filler to more serious books) I felt rather empty, a bit angry, and just an all around sense of blah.

Yes, I know... it's just a story... but at least make it an interesting story... and if it's not an interesting story, at least get a narrator that doesn't sound like she just picked up the book and is reading aloud to 5 year olds... wait... maybe if she had she would have read it better than this. I would not have gotten this book had I ventured to listen to the sample first.

And hey, if I wait on God for my own romance, and it turns out to be this easy vapid and cliche, I'll change my review and rating to 5 stars.
