"Alice is a feisty Northern counterpart to Scarlett O'Hara ... and her irreverent humor and precise expression will keep readers entertained."(Publishers Weekly)

Our favorite yet from Sandra Dallas!

This was especially great...our second Sandra Dallas, and we loved it. The relationship between the characters was the star here, and that is what we like...not so much the characters themselves, but the connections. Well, saying that, I now think back on Prayers for Sale....the same solid substance was there too, the building of a strong and rich relationship among the events and the times and the culture of the story.
