Being in close quarters only makes things harder on both men, will Mark get his man? Will Josh take a chance.... In the wilds of Denali Forest the two men come together, but is it for good? EXCELLENT 2ND IN THE SERIES!!

This very sexy and riveting storyline is what we've come to expect from this author. Greg Boudreaux is among the short list of my favorite narrators. His deep, delicious voice bends beautifully creating the two men, and supporting cast members, with thorough precision & skill. Found this series, and many others, by searching for his narrated works.

You will NOT be let down!❤️

Book two!

This is the second book in the assasin/shifter series and was much more well-put-together than book one, although I didn’t think the connection between the two MC’s was as strong as Mateo and Riley in book one. You might be pretty confused at some parts if you haven’t read the first one. Overall, pretty good and I plan on following the series as long as I can.

Another Treasure

I am always looking for new M/M books to read that have that perfect balance of great characters and an action adventure
plot! Gasp Dion's books have that in spades! Also I loved the Narrator's style and voice! Nothing can ruin an audio book quicker than the wrong narrator. Mr. Greg Boudreaux is excellent!

Okay

Greg Boudreaux does a great job with the book. It is m/m and torture is involved.

A favorite series narrated by a master narrator!

We met Josh in book one, briefly, but he saw the same Fortune Teller that told Mateo and Riley they’d be together. She told Josh he’d find an “unexpected love”… in a man!

At first he’s unsure if it’s just protective instincts but over time he realizes it’s something more – and far more scary!

When he runs away to give Mark space, Mark takes the time to heal. When the two reconnect – there’s nothing in the way of them finding their forever together.

We are also introduced to the Denali wolf pack and Dakota for the first time and we get to hang with Riley and Mateo some more as well.

**

The first half of the story kills me. It’s hard to listen to – more than to read. Greg does such an amazing job with the tense emotions and then transitioning to the humor and the passion.

There is a bit of hurt/comfort, new to being gay exploration, some action and adventure, and lots of sweet feels.

The series is funny, sexy, sappy and sentimental all at the same time. The boys are fun teasing one another and when they fall in love they fall HARD. There’s lots of hot smexy times, but lots of introspective moments as well. Sandrine does a nice job of setting up the other stories – Derek and James, Troy and… Sam and… Keegan and… Letting us glimpse the characters and their future challenges.

I love this series so much, and I’m really hoping Greg is doing all the narrations because he’s already started to differentiate the many characters with subtly different voices. (Keegan in particular is a riot! And I’m really interested in where he goes with Sam as well.)

It was such a joy to listen to this – one of my favorite series brought to life by a master narrator! Highly recommended!

(There are no shifters til book 3 - but stay tuned!!)

Fantastic narration for my favorite series!

Would you listen to Alaska, with Love again? Why?

Yes, in fact, I actually listened to it again a couple days after the first listen.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Alaska, with Love?

The entire book was amazing. If I had to mention just one, it would be when Josh found Mark in the snow.

Which scene was your favorite?

Bowling Pin! LOL!!

If you could take any character from Alaska, with Love out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Josh, who else. I'd love to climb that mountain!

Any additional comments?

e-book review December 2012

Josh Montgomery is an A-typical hetero male and a member of the elite team of assassins we were introduced to in book one, A Marked Man. When his next target takes him to Peru he stumbles upon a not so willing participant and his job quickly becomes a rescue mission.

Mark Patterson is a doctor in Peru with Doctors without borders who is targeted by a drug lord, kidnapped, brutalized and abused. Resigned to the fact that there is no way out of his current situation he is completely alone, broken and suicidal. That is until tall, light and handsome Josh steps into his shower one morning.

Josh is instantly and insanely overprotective of the beautiful, blue eyed doctor. Mark as well feels an instant attraction to Josh, but he’s certain the man is straight. As Josh struggles with the attraction he feels for Mark the pair grow closer until a passionate kiss one night sends Josh running, and leaves Mark confused and hurt. When Mark decides to follow his heart and therefore follow Josh to Alaska, will he win Josh’s heart in the end? When a dark and dangerous person from Mark’s past show’s up, will Josh be able to save him again?

Again Gasq-Dion has strong character development not only between Josh and Mark, but with the secondary characters of this story as well. Action packed, steamy and engrossing. I could not put this book down once I started it and immediately moved on the book three. The shifter aspect is introduced in the book, and a fantastic twist at the end will make you want to dive right into the next book.

Another M/M erotic love story with lots of sensual and sexy scenes.

I give this one 4/5, but that’s just my two cents!!

Audiobook review August 2016

I do really enjoy adding narration to my favorite books. Narrated by Greg Boudreaux, Alaska with Love audiobook is perhaps better than the written story. Gasq-Dion is my favorite Author hands down, I've read the books in this series multiple times. Then add to her fantastic and engaging stories Boudreaux's voicing talent, it's a winner all the way around. I absolutely loved the voice Boudreaux gave Josh, he literally sounded protective, which is the core of Josh's storyline. He fell in love with someone he didn't expect to fall for, and his priority in life is to protect that love, regardless the cost. Mark was absolutely adorable, just as he's written. I enjoy the way Boudreaux can add feelings to his voice with nuances and inflections. It really makes the book just that much better.

Greg's narration is pure pleasure!

Any additional comments?

Someone told me this series is like crack. They're not entirely wrong. It's really, really hard to stop once you start...except maybe with an intervention. But who needs that?

Once, again the story features a badass assassin who only kills truly bad guys. This time the assassin rescues a doctor from a horrifying situation. Trigger warning: Rape.

Greg Tremblay, under his Greg Boudreaux alias, narrates this story just as wonderfully as expected. Seriously though? One of the only reasons I've given this such a high rating is because of Greg's entertaining narration. There are definitely issues with the story, the writing, and the editing (I whispersynced so I both read and listened), but Greg's narration sweeps those concerns away in pure pleasure.

There were two things I absolutely loved in this story though (besides the narration): first, Mark goes to therapy after his ordeal. It wasn't just a quick fix and jumping into bed with Josh. Second, when Mark and Josh first make love it's not super easy, pound 'em into the mattress...it was a realistic love scene that didn't take away from the passion. Me likey.

Me likey a lot!

Greg's narration absolutely elevates this story to pure entertainment. Bottom Line? It was FUN. Fun enough that I bought the next two books in ebook and audio.

NOTE: Don't be confused like I was. Though this is called the "Assassin/Shifter" series, there is, in fact, only a brief mention of shifters in this story, and they don't really show up until book three.
