Engaging and informative
Hard to put down. Engaging story line. Poetic language, however felt that some language was discriminatory of black people in Puerto Rico. A correction for the author: the Spanish language word "Mole" is of Nahuatl origin (Aztec Language) and not the creation of a Spanish cook.

Una historia que hace pensar en tiempos actuales
Yo soy de la Ciudad de Mexico y durante toda mi vida escuche el nombre del Dr Balmis en una calle en el centro de la ciudad, jamas me hizo sentido el nombre ya que no esta en los libros de texto quien fue este Medico, pero despues de leer el libro me fascino la historia basada en su viaje a America, principalmente a Mexico para comenzar con una odisea de vacunacion, gran historia basada en la realidad

Una excelente narración y recopilación de hechos bastante desconocidos para el Mundo. Interesante y fluido y con sus toques novelescos.

Lindisimo, muy bien escrito y narrado
Me gustó mucho esta novela histórica de Javier Moro. Nos cuenta la historia de una expedición fascinante sobre la primera campaña de vacunacion en masa ...contra la viruela. Unos personajes increíbles, una historia real y desconocida. Muy recomendado! leeré más del autor.
