Publisher's summary

Fans of The Mother Daughter Book Club (Heather Vogel Fredericks) and The Wedding Planner's Daughter (Coleen Paratore) series will fall in love with the humor, classic charm, and very determined heroine of Lindsay Eland's sophomore novel.

When you're the third of six kids, it's easy to get lost in the shuffle, but Sunday Fowler is determined that this summer she'll find the one thing that makes her stand out from her siblings. And when she discovers a silver box in the basement of the library her parents are renovating, she might just have found something to gain her the attention she so craves. Inside is a series of letters addressed to "The Librarian" and a manuscript. But who wrote them?

With the help of annoying neighbor-turned-new-friend Jude, Sunday is determined to track down the author. And when she unveils this novel to the world, she'll be famous! But uncovering this manuscript means stirring up secrets that some people in the town hoped to keep buried. And Sunday must decide if some things - loyalty, trust, friendship - are worth more than her name in the headlines.

What I think about the book a summer of Sundays.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

The reason why this story should be given a 4 or 5 rate is the way the narrator speaks as if your own friend is telling you and it is really happening. The characters also express their feelings in a way that you can understand and also uses simple language.

What did you like best about this story?

The thing I like about this story is that it is full of adventures and end with every one being friends and family also shows a important moral witch is always think about others.

Which character – as performed by Kathleen McInerney – was your favorite?

My favorite character is bow because he is sweet caring and nice to everyone cares about other people feelings.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from A Summer of Sundays?

If i can play editor I would take out the scene when Jude and Sunday fight and when Sunday was mean to sweet to Little bow.

Any additional comments?

I really recommend and you people to read this book it is a adventurous and absolutely the best!!!
