Wonderful – Any Time of Year

Sandy Lloyd is a wonderfully, talented writer. This book focuses on Angie Reynolds and her longing for a family and husband of her own. She feels her biological clock ticking and after her last relationship, she is not going to mess around.

her dream in the cards for her? Or will she have to settle, being everyone's favorite auntie, babysitter, etc. as the closest 'children' she will have?

Brad Miller rents the house next door in order to get away from the chaos and fake environment of Silicon Valley. Will these to become more than neighbors? I think you know the answer…

Lloyd adds some undertones of faith without ignoring the human emotions, successes and failures of her characters.

I always enjoy listening to Carol Dines. Instead of getting into character, she has a knack for letting the story flow through her. She is a natural storyteller.

Short Christmas story

Any additional comments?

I received a free copy in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I didn't care much for the narrator of this. The story itself was good but the narrator sounded a little like having Siri read it. It was very electronic and robotic sounding. Which made me want to laugh during stuff that was more serious and I shouldn't have laughed at.

Despite my laughter and inability to take serious most of the serious parts. I did enjoy this. I probably would have enjoyed this just as much had I been reading this in print or e-book form(which, I do own this in ebook form for the record).

This novel was OK, but it seems the female protagonist is able to fall in love very fast and often. I like a story to build slowly but without dragging. This didn't drag on so I guess that is one plus for it. There wasn't a lot of conflict or drama to move the story along. It felt like something was missing, and then the ending. I will try listening again, and if it feels different I will edit this review.

The True Meaning of Love, Faith, and Understanding

"A Christmas Miracle Book 2" was so good I couldn't even pause it. It was a perfect romance even after Christmas. Heartwarming and endearing, I loved this story. Angie and Brad found each other even though both had had previous failed relationships. This was definitely an uplifting story for a cold winter night. I'm really enjoying Sandy Loyd's writing more and more. (And I loved the kitty cats as well.)

Carol Dines did an outstanding job narrating this story as well. Her voice inflections were spot on and she was a perfect match for Angie as well as handling Brad's character. An overall great story and recommended.
