Publisher's Summary

Democrat Jesus runs for president to stop war between Muslims and Christians!
Yes, that's right, Timothy Cooper's new novel, 2020 or My Name is Jesus Christ and I'm Running for President is a celestial comedy about the return of Christ to Earth. It paints a hilariously envisioned America caught up in the highest form of adult entertainment - US presidential politics! But this time 'round, the two candidates heading their party tickets are not your usual party suspects, but rather the hugely popular Jesus and his equally magnanimous stepbrother Beelzebub! And you thought American politics was divisive before! You ain't seen nothin' yet!
So the race is on! Across Iowa, New Hampshire, and the rest of America. Then onto the Democratic and Republican Conventions, which are guaranteed to be unlike any political conventions you've ever experienced....
Who will win? Well, God only knows.
So hear the prophecy the Bible wouldn't ever dare tell you about, and the only novel ever endorsed by Jesus Christ himself! (Okay, just kidding!)
Listen now, and join the ranks of his new-age disciples!

What would have made 2020 or My Name is Jesus Christ and I'm Running for President better?

Another story, another writer

Any additional comments?

It was a lousy story with annoying repetitive dialogue that could have been cut by 75%in places. Made you want to scream "Enough already...we get it..move on".

I could not finish it

The premise sounded cute but in practice the writing was repetitive to the point of boredom. The narrator didn't do anything to help the story. In fact he made it worse. I really listen to a lot of books and review few because what isn't my cup of tea may not be yours. But I rarely leave a book unfinished. This one I just could not finish.
