Karen Lane has been a hunted woman nearly 30 years. To save her friends, she took the last dose of a product called FSAT. It gave her the expected strength to free them from Jason Matthews. Unexpectedly, unlike other test subjects, FSAT didn't kill her.
Jason had to know why. He would give anything, sacrifice anyone, to recapture her and continue his brutal "testing."
It's part of his big Plan. A plan for worldwide domination, with himself as the supreme leader.
Karen eluded Jason for years. No more. She is the strongest, most intelligent person alive. She has decided. Jason Matthews must die.
Because if he wins, everyone loses.

Fast paced fun story. Not a great villain.
I enjoyed this story of a woman with enhanced abilities on the run from the Government that wants her dead, or at least captured. It was entertaining.
It was not without its flaws. First off, the villain was too one dimensional, almost like he was being evil for evil's sake. He had a very short bout or reflection, but shrugs it off.
Secondly, the evil government is portrayed as doing evil things like...Obamacare. The evil described is only evil to some. I understand that this is coming from a religious view of the world and this is clearly displayed by the main protagonists actions (she donates a lot of stuff to charity and uses her money to do the right thing and help others). I questioned her faith for a while due to the fact that here is a very devout Christian woman who is attempting to assassinate a US Senator. She does finally address her cognitive dissonance and thinks about other avenues to take down the antagonist. I applaud Col. Best for this.
While there were flaws, Overall the story was enjoyable and I would be interested to see where it goes from here. I would like to see the villain, Jason Matthews, have more of an arc to his character. Maybe fill in some more of his back story or something.
The narration was top notch by the Author. I really enjoyed it.

Captivating from beginning
I usually get bored with fiction and usually see where the story is going but this storyline was not predictable. I enjoyed it and the reading was very clear without a flat monotone. Look forward to next book!!!
