What would have made 1922 better?
The story is vintage Stephen King; he's always been one of my favorites. However, the narration is making it very difficult for me to listen to the book. I may opt out, and read it in regular book form instead. It is VERY important to have a good narrator who can translate and perform the story as intended, but this actor puts emphasis on the wrong words, and often speaks in a horrible, whiny sing-song voice, mostly when he is imitating how he thinks a character should sound when speaking. Listening to him do the wife's voice is almost unbearable. I don't think I can listen to it any longer.
Would you be willing to try another book from Stephen King? Why or why not?
Yes, he is pretty much my favorite author.
Would you be willing to try another one of Craig Wasson’s performances?
Nope. Sorry.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Yes - good, vintage Stephen King thriller.
