loved it!
i had to re listen to the first three chapters as i was focused on reviewing the book and then forgot about reviewing and did not realize it was the last chapter. the narrator nailed the characters . overall it was enjoyable.

A mixture of romance, mystery and suspense with a bit of paranormal. Quick, very entertaining, sometimes humorous and enjoyable story.
Great cast of characters, even the villain. Even though there is no mystery who the murderer is there is still a mystery element in the story. The romance is the beginning and building of a relationship. Not the typical HEA, we're soulmates and in instant love story. Clean with no sex.
Author Jessica Windsor is in a writing slump. She writes romance's but is suffering from a broken heart herself. In order to clear her mind and finish her book by her deadline she decides to rent a cabin in the mountains and get away to focus on her work. Ben Gearing the owner of the cabin has also had his life turned upside down and is struggling. Shortly after arriving she discovers that the cabin she has rented is already occupied by the ghost of another writer who went missing 2 years ago. In trying to help Andrew McCabe's spirit pass on she begins to investigate his murder. This investigation puts her in danger as well as brings Jessica and Ben closer.
This is the first time I have listened to a book narrated Gwendolyn Druyor. She did a good job with the narration. She has a pleasant voice. Easy to listen to. Her character voices were good, but the narration of lines not in a character voice were flat sometimes. There is not a lot of difference between male and female voices. It would have been a bit more enjoyable if at least Ben's voice had been a bit deeper instead of so soft.

Romance meets ghost story
This was a nice mild and funny ghost story and romance story. Jessica goes to a cabin to try to finish writing her novel. While there, she meets the ghost of Andrew who was murdered two years previously. He was an author before being killed. Jessica and Andrew make a pact: he'll write her novel if she'll get revenge for his murder. Add hunky handyman/cabin owner, Ben, and it becomes a romance story. Cute and enjoyable.

Excellent
The narration with Druyor is excellent, have listened to others she has done, the plot was interesting of how these three felt stuck and wanted to be free. Interesting and well done with excellent narration. Given audio for my voluntary review and my honest opinion
