Publisher's summary

New York Times and USA Today best-selling series, the Immortal Outcasts! Part of the Immortal Ops World.

Weston Carol - bear-shifter, genetically altered supersoldier - just wants to return to his solitary life off the grid. As far as he's concerned, after helping to rescue the mate of his former teammate, he's done his good deed for the decade. Now he simply wants to retreat to the woods, where he can drop off the radar of those looking to kill him.

Then news reaches him of a woman in danger, and he can't help but rescue the damsel in distress. Whether or not he believes it, she is his future, and he's in no condition to meet his mate. It's been too long since he's seen to his manly needs and way too long without shifting - he's a tense, grumpy mess on the verge of losing control of his bear side. One small stop on the way shouldn't interfere with fate too much, right?

Good Action Romance in true Ops form

This is another good Action-filled romance by Mandy Roth. It's over the top alpha mating like all the other Ops World stories. Mason Lloyd does an outstanding job of retelling that brings each character to life. I look forward to more books by Ms. Roth and Mr. Lloyd in the future.

Decent

I loved the humor and the characters but it was over so quick I had to check and make sure I didn’t pay too much. Sorry, not sorry

Damage Report

Another winner. Every book in the OPs series is a winner and this is no exception. Outcasts, people who have not turned out as expected from the special army scientists have attempted to create. Weston knew he had limits. What they'd done to him was inconceivable. Trying to eliminate him when he hadn't turned out per the blueprints was worse. He knew he had to let go of his stress to prevent just what they'd worried about. He was in the process of letting his bear out to run off some steam when another outcast stopped him. Two characters you won't soon forget (and you'll get to see them in other books--yea!) are with him. A warning that his mate is in trouble. Mate? He didn't think he'd ever have one.

The rest is quite a ride. A good one for some and not so much for others. Mason Loyd is always excellent. The story is a good one and one you won't forget. It isn't a long one but power packed.

AWESOME!

YES! Another great book in the I-Ops series. Outcast Weston has been having dreams about a woman, who unknown to him, is his mate. His dreams should always be listened to. Casey, Bill, and Gus make an appearance and well this would not be an I-Ops book without humor, so watch out and DO NOT drink while reading. Weston wants to eat Bill in a bad way, bad bad bear. Weston's mate is in trouble and he meets up with her in a place that he went to get rid of some frustration before meeting her, can you see where this is a bad idea? Once they meet it is explosive between Weston and Paisley and does not calm down the entire book. Kick tail fight scenes and with Paisley hanging out at Jinxs' former establishment then we know she is not exactly human but it is explosive finding out exactly what she is.

I just THOUGH do not drink while reading... that is even more so when listening! Mason Lloyd ROCKED the narration on this one!

Damage Report

A quick instalove story to continuing this series. When mates are involved you always expect the instalove part to it so it was no surprise. The acceptance that these two have for each other was so nice to listen to and the side characters had me cracking up at times. Definitely worth the listen for more.
