Publisher's summary

WARNING: May Contain Werewolves.

A pyramid predating all known cultures appears without warning. Its discovery throws into question everything we know about the origins of mankind. Inside lies incredible technology, proof of a culture far more advanced than our own. Something dark lurks within, eager to resume a war as old as mankind. When it is unleashed it heralds the end of our species’ reign.

A plague of werewolves spreads across the world. A sunspot larger than anything in recorded history begins to grow. Yet both pale in comparison to the true threat, the evil the werewolves were created to fight.

I don't get the high ratings

What did you like best about No Such Thing As Werewolves? What did you like least?

I am struggling to finish. So much going on and nothing!

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

When I saw werewolves and good ratings I was excited. I am so sick of zombie crap. Then it just falls flat. Lame. Why is it so difficult for authors to write a good werewolf novel?

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Like the book just flat.

Could you see No Such Thing As Werewolves being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

I hope not!

Chris Fox, you are a mad genius

Would you consider the audio edition of No Such Thing As Werewolves to be better than the print version?

I have not seen the print book yet though I will go buy it for my library give the listen i just experienced. That being said, I have a new favorite reader in Ryan Kennard Burke; what a wonderful narrator he is.

What other book might you compare No Such Thing As Werewolves to and why?

This is a contemporary fantasy novel and so it is natural to compare it to authors in the same genre. I would say if you like Larry Correia's novels "Monster Hunter International" you will love this book.

Which character – as performed by Ryan Kennard Burke – was your favorite?

The beasts.... All of them. Well done sir, well done!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. I had so much trouble stopping it to do pesky things like sleep it was infuriating. Of course I immediately bought the second novel and after the first 30 seconds, I know that at the end of this novel October will not come fast enough!

Any additional comments?

I just can't believe how long it took Audible to recommend this book given my listening history. Come on team, leverage that "Big Data" better and get me more books like these!

Interesting take on a popular theme

The story was interesting, a little galling at times with the references and integration of mordern themes like HIV. The author made of number of mistakes in adjectives and gave a character a 61 Mustang when the first came out in 65. Little mistakes but pretty good overall.

The narrator was adequate but mispronounced a number of words and was only passable at character voices. I would've enjoyed the story more with a better narrator.

Great campy kind of story!

I love it! It's just a fun & interesting read. Who doesn't love werewolves? And then there are the Arks and the Mother/Isis, ancient Egyotians. Who or what really is Moen? So much happening and so many questions still need to be answered. The ending is a cliffhanger and sooo funny!

Very entertaining from the beginning!

If you could sum up No Such Thing As Werewolves in three words, what would they be?

Werewolves are real

Who was your favorite character and why?

Blair was a very endearing character that you find yourself routing for.

Which scene was your favorite?

Trevor's house being attacked by special ops.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

The time passed quickly listening to this book, I was bummed every time I had to pause.

Any additional comments?

This is not my normal genre and boy am I glad that I ventured out! The story and characters had me from the beginning and I enjoyed the narration very much. I couldn't wait to see where the story was going to go next. I'm looking forward to the next audiobook in the series!

Not your average werewolf story!

I was really into how the author explained the existence of werewolves. I am so happy that book 2 is available right now. Off to continue the excellent story!

FANTASTIC!

This book just jumped to my Top 5 in 2014. Totally was not interested in ANOTHER Werewolf book. Tired of all the copy-cat urban fantasy, and paranormal 'romance' which borders more on erotica.

THESE are Werewolves! Alpha Predators, huge, aggressive and scary, even to the host.

The narrator is EXCELLENT as well. :-) Great use of different voices and accents.
