Even though Eulalie is older than dirt, her faith in the good lord and her endless supply of spells guarantee she will give Washerwoman a run for his ill-gotten money in this swamps and piney woods story.

Narration issues
The story was excellent. The narration was not. There were many weird pauses in places that didn't make sense, and many mispronunciations of words, for example "corpse" for "copse", "garnish" rather than "garish" that I found disruptive.
