Yes, it is another 50 shades book!

If you're a true fan of the Fifty Shades of Grey series you are always hungry to understand Christian just a little bit more. We understand that he is a complex person with a terrible background, but in this book you will get more of that history and a lot more of his true passion.

EL James was able to capture the Fifty Shades Darker book perfectly while including a more in depth background about Christian. With his point of view, the true feelings he felt for Anastasia from the beginning and the feelings he was forced to face with her leaving was spectacularly Demonstrated in this book . After reading Darker I fell in love with Christian even more.

As for Zachary Webber, he portrays Christian excellently and gives his raw feelings adequate emotions.

I am looking forward to Christian's version of Fifty Shades Freed. Thank you EL James for your commitment to the series.

Zachary Webber is a

Zachary Webber brings this tale to life. Glad to finally understand Leila a little clearer. While this love story is a bad attempt at BDSM erotica, it's better told from Christian's perspective.

Darker

I have listened to the FSOG trilogy and CG's POV. I think I am enjoying his POV's more and also Zachary Webber's narration.

So good!

Enjoyed Grey so excited to listen to Darker. I hope EL James is writing one for the 3rd book in the trilogy. Love the narrator. He adds so much to listening.

Aaaaaand Zachary Webber saves the day!

First of all- i hated this book but if Freed comes out w/Christian’s POV and Zachary Webber narrates it...I’ll buy it too; otherwise, I’M DONE! EL James did a shit job with this book! The only insight we got was with the other characters, not Christian. Books 1-4 ALREADY told us how Christian was feeling and just about what he was thinking. If it wasn’t for Zachary Webber’s talent and AMAZING voice, I would’ve sworn Becca Battoe re-read book 2 verbatim! Outside of the narrator, the best part of the book was the END!! I couldn’t WAIT for it to be over! I learned NOTHING more about Christian. She could’ve detailed Christian’s experience during the 4 days left w/his dead mom and she could’ve better illustrated Christian’s transformation w/his staff. Again, this story was a MAJOR disappoinment and only partially worth a credit. But hey- my ears were in bliss with thr voice coming out of my speakers. Oh - the only good part...again just character interaction not Christian’s inner thoughts, but the conversation with Grace & Christian was AWESOME! It was the only thing that made this story worth it. Unfortunately, it waa the last 15 minutes of the book lol! Grace’s reaction was an epiphany moment for me- bringing back memories of a scene between Christian & Anna in Freed. It sorta tied things together. Everything else EXCEPT the narrator was complete garbage!!

I would highly recommend this version. it's nice to look inside Christian's head. I have listened his version twice and I just love Christian Grey.

Awful

Any additional comments?

I loved the 50 shades books, but this version told by Christian makes him sound like a whiny, controlling little boy. Super annoying and the story line from his point of view was really drug out.

I wanted to know more about Grey's childhood.

I thought she was writing about Grey's childhood, the crack whore and the pimp. How he came to be with Grace and his begining with Mrs. Robinson. It was boring at times because fans of 50 Shades already knew the story and loved the story that was just retold. found myself bored at times because I have alreay read and watched the books and movies.

His point of view....well done

I don't know how it is possible but I honestly am loving the versions by Christian's point of view. It gives a more in depth look at his personality. I am hopeful E L James graces us with Freed in Christian's point ov view soon.

The real side of Christian Gray!!

Loved getting his side of the story! Even more erotic than the original Fifty Shades series!
