Would you consider the audio edition of Yes, Please to be better than the print version?
This audiobook is my favorite to date! Take an amazing book that has it all, snark, laughs, sarcasm, a sexy hot broken alpha male & the woman who knows what she wants and knows how to say no, add a phenomenal voice actress and this audiobook becomes a triple threat! I loved it more than the print edition!
What other book might you compare Yes, Please to and why?
Yes, Please is very similar to Fifty Shades of Grey in a few ways. There is a hot alpha male who is not use to being told no. There is a contract. There is steamy hot sex but that is where the similarities end. Olivia is a strong, independent thinker who has the whole package but doesn't realize whereas Anastasia was not able to stand on her own two feet.
Yes, Please also reminds me of A Beautiful by T.K. Leigh because Alexander Burnham is also a very controlling, dominating, sexy hot alpha male who is broken and afraid to feel. He has the same self-centered attitude as Hunter Carlisle and says things like "People only have to call me Mr. Burnham in the bedroom." Very different story lines but both amazing reads!
What does Kirsten Leigh bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Up until now Robert Petkoff was my favorite audiobook voice actor but I just fell a bit in love with Kirsten! She gets Willow Summers sassiness. Her voice and the way she portrays the characters has depth and her tone rises and falls as needed to show excitement, frustration, whatever the case may be so you feel the emotions more.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I would have loved to listen to this book in just one or two sittings but I do have a job, husband and kids! I really wish I would have waited until they were gone one night, wait! No I don't! I couldn't have waited to listen to this one! No way, it was too amazing!!!
Any additional comments?
Original Review for Print Version:
Move over Mr. Grey and Mr. Burnham there is a better, sexier, hotter alpha in town and you do not stand a chance against him! Hunter Carlisle is too hot for words and broken as hell but he has finally met his match in Olivia. She is fresh out of school and even though she is desperate for a job she will not bend on what is and is not ethical to her. She does the unthinkable and says no to Hunter Carlisle!
Willow Summers once again nails it with her strong characters, fun banter and of course leaves you wanting more! Trust me when I say pick up this book! You will not be disappointed!!!

I hate to bring 50 shades into this, but if you're looking for a 50 shades-esque book, this is it. The admin being asked to sign a sexual contract along with her employment in order for the CEO to work the way he does but still get his needs met.
The writing is excellent and the storyline is enthralling. I am completely sold and although this probably shouldn't be broken down into 3 short books, I don't even care because I have to know what happens.
Kristen Leigh is the perfect narrator. She has a smart voice that matches her character perfectly. She also pulls off the male voices in a way that is not distracting and keeps me in the story.

Very familiar storyline, angst ridden CEO, specific 'relationship' requirements. Female lead, strong and determined....until she isn't ! usual cliffhanger ending.
All that said, I found myself enjoying the tale, some good funny moments too. I will probably go on to book two if only to find out why he won't ...
