G. Angel is so deft at creating believable characters. It's frighteningly easy to imagine oneself interacting with the people in the book, they just seem like the kind of folks you'd want to hang out with. That's what makes these books so much fun; it feels like a close friend is next to you on the couch, spilling all the scandalous details of their wild weekend, as well as the resulting fallout.
The story itself calls Anne Rice's Sleeping Beauty to mind, but without the pony play and with a whole lot more consenting adults to round out the kink. Great book.

This new to me author certainly was introduced to me with a very intriguing book. This might be my first book by her but it won't be my last. While it was very heavy on the descriptions on things like class schedules and detailed step by step of things done in those classes, it also had a very interesting story underneath it all. A woman wanting to explore her more sensual side, especially when not allowed to really explore it in past relationships. Two men who find themselves both interested in the same woman and are presented with the perfect opportunity to get to know her and let her get to know them. I liked the freed the characters really seemed to feel while at this school. I loved all the moments of the main characters really getting to know each other during and between the school course times. It was a very nice concept for a story and I feel like it was done well.
Another thing that was really done well was the narration. This narrator provided the perfect voice to Jessica the leading lady. Young but not high pitched or juvenile. She also pulled off the male character choice of very well.
I plan to jump into book two of this series as soon as possible as the way things were left at the end of this one ensure I need to know more.
