Where to begin...
This one is intense. I almost wanted The Ex to be the last book while listening to parts of this one, but then I thought we wouldn't have Abigail's full perspective of the characters.
I love this series, it is by far one of the best series in this genre. It is well written and even believable. This last installment is very "real". I don't want to spoil anything but be ready for many many many tears and heart ache. There are a few hot scenes but not many. This is a book of real life, even though they are billionaires it doesn't mean they can escape from real life tragedies that many people go through everyday.
I do hope there is another book in the future. I love Neil and Sophie and I love how CJ Bloom narrates or should we say acts out the book.
I don't think I'll be able to listen to this book again in a long time, it is so heavy and hits close to home in some ways. But I am glad that I listened. It would have been easier to listen to if the ending was a little longer. I feel like I am having a "sub drop" now that it is over! I need comforting and time to come down from my adrenaline and emotions! ;)
That you Abigail Barnett, your books are very captivating and I love them. All I ask is that you think about writing another one about Neil and Sophie that is more good points in the future life the way it is now but before Neil passes on as we all know he will most likely pass before Sophie due to their age difference.
