Publisher's Summary

Their passion will consume everything - and everyone - in its path...
I'm on a train.
I don't know which stop I got on at; I only know the train is going fast and the world outside becomes a blur. I should get off, but I don't. The universe is playing a cosmic joke on me. Here I had my life - a good life with everything a woman could want - and suddenly, there is something more I didn't know I could have. A chance for me to be satisfied and content and maybe even on occasion deliriously, amazingly, exuberantly fulfilled.
So this is where I am, on a train that's out of control, and I am not just a passenger. I'm the one shoveling the furnace full of coal to keep it going fast and faster.
If I could make myself believe it all happened by chance and I couldn't help it, that I've been swept away, that it's not my fault, that it's fate...would that be easier? The truth is, I didn't know I was looking for this until I found Will, but I must've been, all this time. And now it is not random, it is not fate, it is not being swept away.
This is my choice. And I don't know how to stop.
Or even if I want to.

STUPENDOUS!

I think that's the first time I've used the word stupendous, but Ms. Hart brings so many things out in me when I listen to her books. She is one of only two authors who I can say have never, ever disappointed me with the books they have offered on Audible. And I've purchased over a 1000 books, so I've listened to many, many authors. She just works for me in every aspect. This story of an affair is one that's been told many times. The subject matter is nothing new; it's just that Ms. Hart's spin on it, her way of telling one woman's journey, is exquisite, meaningful, sensual, sexual, and honest. And the narration was spot-on. There are few things better than when a good story and a good narrator come together. It's the perfect marriage, and you'll find it in this book. Don't buy it if you have a problem with detailed sex scenes. But Ms. Hart does what she does so well and what so few can do; she makes the sex scenes both explicit and romantic without being raunchy. That takes a pro. Usually, you either have detail and raunchiness--which is okay by me--are just sensuality and romance. But Ms. Hart covers all corners. Don't buy it if you have to have the happily ever after in your romances either. This book is for adults who live in the real world and realize life so rarely gives us the HEA, though those books have their place too. Overall, luv, luv, luved it.

Feels like real life.....

Megan Hart is by far my favorite author, I follow her on Facebook, Twitter and have read all off her full length novels. She's who I always recommend instead of all that 50 shades stuff. This book was again spot on for me. The leading lady of the story is a forty something mother of two who's in a lifetime marriage that's lost it shine. As someone who's been married 25 years I understood some of the heartache and hard decisions she faced. I'm not sure I would have created the same outlet for my frustrations as she did but I understood her feelings and related to her needs. This book brings to life the real situations that happen when two people get overly comfortable and confident with each other and forget to take care of their partnership. The emotional rollercoaster she faces really made me think about consequences, reactions and reality. I was happy to find this was not a forever after story, but a true look at real life through fiction, with some honest emotions and a bit of steamy sex. Cause hey, it's Megan Hart and no one writes steamy, emotion filled, honest sex like Megan!
