Any additional comments?
I received this audiobook at my request in exchange for an honest review.
Overall this was an interesting listen. I will say that Menage: Dirty for the Lions was my favourite out of the ones that I listened to. I do not see myself listening to Cynthia Mendoza’s books when I want a book that has equal parts erotica and a story-line. She will be good when I want a lot of smut. Eve Langlais is the prime of example of having a lot of naughty time balanced with action and a true story-line. Overall this was not horrible just not for me.
Menage: Addicted to The Billionaire Dragon
Osiris sounds like a bull that gets shy when clothed. Chloe gets offered a job by Drake and i have idea what that is. I guess it involves working at a sex club and participating. But doing what though? Chloe doesn't even know. This story is unfinished. There are so many questions that are left unanswered.
Billionaire Bear 4 Part Box Set
Hilarie Mukavitz is not the best narrator. I am positive Cynthia Mendoza had periods in her story but yet Hilarie refuses to take a real pause. The story sounds like one run on sentence.
Blair seems to have bigoted tendencies. I guess she hates shifters but we never get an answer why? Also this 4 part story has a lot of sex with a bit of action thrown in. It seems all we get is sex and Blair trying to ‘fight the enemy’. Enemy is the word for this box set.
Prologue: Sleeping with The Enemy
Blair Eubanks is a CIA agent who is on vaca on Venice and just wants to have a fling when she meets Alexei. She sees nothing but enemies (bad guys) everywhere she goes. Paranoia is not attractive.
Part One: Secret Agent Passion
Blair thinks that Alex is the enemy but yet she cannot let Alex go. This part one is showing how Blair cannot stop working. She is doing to much and she doesn't realize that. I need her to chill out a bit and relax. Even her boss thinks that she is doing too much. I guess a CIA agent can never stop working. The fact that she doesn't know if she should work or on vacation annoys me.
Part Two: In Too Deep
We are back with Blair and Alex. Alex wants to protect Blair however with the super secret spy known as Blair is not with that. Blair and Alex are both keeping secrets and we all know this will not end well. Blair fell in love with Alex and will do anything to be with him. She really is thinking about running away with him and them against the world. The title is fitting. She really is in too deep.
Part Three: Dangerous Lust
Things just got real for Blair. Looks like a super secret spy can get caught as well. Being depressed and heartbroken can get you caught and beaten up. Love does conquer all even if your job is to put down enemy bears and to also prove to your new found dad that you are worthy. I am glad there is a happy ending.
Dragon King 2 Part Dragon Shifter Box Set
Rebecca Wolfe is better than Hilarie Mukavitz. I don't know if Rebecca made this box set easy to follow but I have to say that this is better than the previous stories. This box set felt like there needed to be something more that needed to happen. It is unfinished. What has now? What will happen with Lydia’s assignment? What about her boss? What about the mafia that Silas runs? I dislike open for interpretation stories when there are A LOT of questions that should have been answered.
Part Two: Undercover Seduction
Lydia Ryan’s (rookie FBI agent fresh out the academy) first assignment is to seduce the kingpin of the dragon shifters, Silas. Lydia is getting caught up in her own seduction trap. She is supposed to get Salis into her web but yet she is drawn instantly to him. Things are not what it seems.
Part One: Flirting with Danger
Lydia and Silas have been living the couple life and things just got a bit complicated. For being a FBI agent Lydia is sure not putting two and two together to figure out what is actually happening.
Shifter Underworld 4 Part Wolf Box Set - Clara Nipper is a good narrator. There is something about her that allows the story come alive. She however does not have a steady pace. There are times that the tempo is just right but then she seems to get a spurt of energy and then starts reading super fast. This story focuses more on the call girl side versus Kara and Dimitri. I understand that Dimitri and Kara met while on a job but I would assume that there would be more than mentioning her work is a bit annoying. This story reminds me of Pretty Woman but only with shifters.
Prologue: The Late Night Escort
We are introduced to Kara who is a call girl. She is being pampered and paid in order to spend some time with a business man. Even though she is high priced this is more than she ever expected in her life. This is something new to her and just like her we do not know what is going to happen. Blue is the safe word and clearly Dimitri gets super ready when she says it. I don't know how I feel about aggressive sex.
Part One: Secrets in The Bedroom
This title is appropriate. There are so many things that happened in this short story. We now know why Kara was being paid so much just to dress up and work. Dimitri is not just a businessman but so much more. The fact that Dimitri is being open and honest is refreshing.
Part Two: Craving the Alpha Wolf
Kara is still working but her heart is not not into anymore. There is just something that Dimitri that keeps drawing her to him. The title also the allows the reader know what is going on in Kara’s head. She is working but yet she keeps comparing everyone to Dimitri.
Part Three: Climax for The Client
Kara has it bad. She is already falling for a man that she has only had sex with a handful of times. I guess good sex, money, and a great body does make some people stupid. She is messing up all her rules. She thought that she had everything together but it seems as though that is not the case. All her plans have just been broken because of this client that is not a client after their first encounter.
Menage: Dirty for The Lions
I think out all the stories that were narrated Marie Smith is the best. She pauses and makes me feel as though I am listening Josephine’s life. It feels like someone who is reading a diary and not a class book that someone needs to power through. I have to admit that I love Jo’s mother who is so relatable. I really enjoyed this story. There was not a lot of sex. Near the end it became unnecessary but for the title i understand why sex was included.
Gorilla Passion 2 Part Gorilla Shifter Box Set was not included in the box set. I do not know where these stories are but it is not located in this set.
Part One: Primal Craving
Part Two: Dirty Secrets

I'm going to very briefly review each story/series rather than the set as one:-
1. Menage: Addicted to the Billionaire Dragon
This one is a great erotic story, not a lot of plot, but it was hot and the narration was well done.
2. Billionaire Bear 4 Part Box Set
Good story line and some seriously hot scenes, but the narration had some sound quality issues, bad enough that I stopped and wrote myself a note to mention it in the review. Chapter 20's sound quality annoyed me and chapter 22 was hard to listen to the sound was so bad, how this made it through production as it is I don't know. Stick with it if you can but if you can't I recommend getting the eBook version for this series as it's well worth reading!
3. Dragon King 2 Part Dragon Shifter Box Set
Wow! Just Wow! Somewhat of a story line, lots of hot sexy fun times and the narration was pretty good.
4. Gorilla Passion 2 Part Gorilla Shifter Box Set
This is listed but not included.
5. Shifter Underworld 4 Part Wolf Box Set
I wanted to switch places with the female lead character. Good narration and a seriously hot erotic story.
6. Menage: Dirty for The Lions
Almost all story line only a bit of sexy fun, but it's worth waiting for, the narration is also good for this one.
