The video footage of this event is the craziest thing Rodriguez has ever seen - and having fought in the Rigil Kentaurus wars, she has seen some pretty freakish things by earthling standards. The event itself was odd enough, but then Wren had quite rapidly, within seven hours, gestated to what looked like a normal seven or eight months into pregnancy, and she seemed to be adopting characteristics of the tree.
