Publisher's summary

Tons of money. Tons of fame. Tons of hot sex. Being the drummer in one of the biggest bands in the Miami area comes with all of the privileges you could imagine.

Thing is, I'm the last of a dying breed. All of the other guys in the band slowly, but surely, have found serious girlfriends to settle down with. I've always loved being single, but lately I've been wondering what it would be like to have what they have.

I met this bangin' blonde photographer named Allie at a festival and our chemistry both in and out of the bedroom is incredible. Sex with her is electric and she's changed me in ways that I never thought were possible.

Problem is, our lead singer Alex hasn't trusted her from the start and suspects that she's with me just to bolster her career. He swears that after she uses me, she's gonna leave me high and dry.

I've finally met a girl and I think we have a real chance at something special, but can I trust her? Can I fully let my guard down, or could this beautiful angel break my heart and cause the breakup of my band and all we've ever worked for?

This audiobook is intended for listeners age 18 and over. It contains mature situations and language that may be objectionable to some listeners.

4 Mark Stars

I wasn't sure if I was going to like Mark, because I wasn't a fan of his from the last book like at ALL. But he does redeem himself a little bit in this book.

Grrrr I want to smack Alex, like so freaking hard. I think I get he was “trying” to do the right thing and protecting a fellow band member but come on! Douchey, move dude.

Allie is totally awesome and cool in that way that fits with the band, though if I were her I so would have smacked Alex. She was well with in her right.

Over all this was a great addition to the series.

Again, LOVE D.C. Cole’s narration.. Like A LOT ;)

Book 5

What did you like best about this story?

I have now listened to all of the Rock Star Romance books and I think Mark was the best of the series. The characters had evolved from their previous books just like growing in maturity and responsibility in relationships. Great sereis

Have you listened to any of D. C. Cole’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Mark

This book was quite different than the others. I liked the way we got to see inside Mark's head, and what was going on internally with him from the last book. And, I was pleased by the ending.
What more can one say about DC Cole? He was perfect for this series. Each character portrayed so very unique, great performance. Just everything you'd expect. Sorry to see this series end.

"💓 The Bad Boys of Molly Riot! 💓 Mark 💓”

This is the fifth and hopefully not the last we hear of “The Bad Boys Of Molly Riot: Hard Rock Star Series. I enjoyed the entire series, each book a stand alone featuring a member of the band. But IMO, I believe you get more out of their stories by reading them in chronological order. On to Mark, I think this book was my favorite of the series. After reading Dan’s book I was not sure how I was going to like Mark. Turned out once I got to know him he was very likable, a decent guy. He finally meets a girl of his own, Allie, she seemed genuinely nice but is she too good to be true? At least one of the band members thinks that, making for an interesting twist. Jade Allen tells their story nicely, knows how to keep your interest and you’ll want to finish the book in one sitting. D.C Cole did a wonderful job with the narration and the different characters.

"I received a copy of this audiobook for review consideration"

Short and fun

I have not Listend to the other book's in this series because until I was gifted a copy for my honest review, I had never heard of the them.
I did however find this book sexy and enjoyable.
It had a decent storyline with likeable characters.
The drama between band members kept the story flowing at a steady pace.
But the short 3 hour listen did make the romance feel instant and rushed.

D.C Cole was an excellent choice for this book.
His voice is sexy strong and his proformance was perfect.

If these short stories would have been combined into one book I would say it's credit Worthy but...
because it's such a short listen I would just spend the money and save the credit.

4.5 Rising Above Stars!!

Mark's story was a perfect ending to this fun and sexy series. We not only learned more about Mark but the rest of the band as well. In the previous book, Dan, Mark was struggling with feelings of betrayal and the changing dynamics of the band. He had lost his love and enthusiasm for creating music. When Mark fills in for an injured drummer in another band, he remembers how fun playing music can be. He also meets and falls for Allie, allowing him to understand his brothers in Molly Riot better. There are still so many issues to overcome, to bring the band back to who they are and what they love most. Ms Allen addresses them openly and honestly giving this quick story a depth that is very satisfying. D.C. Cole's intonation was so perfect, adding to the playfulness, emotion, and passion of this story. I get lost in his narration not wanting it to end. I really enjoyed this series and highly recommend it.

#MARK #MOLLYRIOT 4 1/2 Stars

Have you listened to any of D. C. Cole’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

D.C. Cole once again blew me away, this book was so different to the rest of the series and it come across in the narrative.
Really enjoyed Mark, D.C brings this series to life and draws you in as a reader/listener. Jade is a great writer and she has made this whole series so relatable, and I`ve looked forward to ever release. When I finished I just wanted more, I wish this whole series was long.
I`m a big fan of D.C Cole`s work, he has one of the best voices in the business and is able to bring a story to life and keep you in a trance while you listen. His range is second to none in my opinion.
Hey, people go loopy over SebYork, for me its DC. Cole

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes most definitely, D.C Cole has one of those voice`s that just makes you want to listen to him on a loop. LOL

There's Just Something About A Rock Romance!

This is the first book I've listened to in this series, and Jade Allen did a great job delivering a story that could stand on it's own. I didn't feel lost or I was missing any background information. However, I could tell, listening to the entire series would definitely add more depth to this rock-n-roll world Jade has created. I'm really selective with stories I listen to under four hours, and felt this one was as developed as could be for a short story. I liked the relationship between the band members, there was tension, caution, and suspension. Basically, all the emotions you would expect from a diverse group of rockers, with egos.

The relationship between the H/h was on the instant side, and there wasn't really enough time to fully develop the chemistry between the characters. However, there some tension between the characters, when a seed of doubt was planted in the hero's mind, and he kept questioning Allie's motives in his mind.

D.C. Cole does a great job with the narration! His voice was a good fit for the story and characters.

The Down and Dirty: Decent story, perfect for the times when you only have a few hours, or don't want to start a lengthly audio. The best part - no cliffhangers! As far as the ratings go, it's only fair to compare this audio to others I've listened around the same length, and give the story 3.5 stars and an overall rating of 4 stars. SO GOOD...

Any additional comments?

"I received this audiobook for review consideration."

DARN IT JADE! When are you going to take your exquisite talent and write a good LONG book? I love the Molly Riot members and in each book, as I just get comfy with them, it ends! It's for this reason only that I gave it a 4 instead of a 5.

Mark was the last of his band members to hook up with a steady woman. I guess that'll be the last of the books unless they get together in some big adventure. It'd be great to have the sum of their audio hours (about 14 hours) released in a new group story grand finale.

I've come to associate D.C. Cole exclusively with Molly Riot. He has such a laid back, throw caution to the wind voice that fits a rocker lifestyle. And so deep and gravely... Love it!

TWO THUMBS UP AGAIN.
