This irresistible listen features stories of couples turning their deepest fantasies into reality for uninhibited and imaginative sex. You'll delight in discovering all the exciting erotic possibilities, and ways of getting and staying turned on. It all starts with a little sexting in A.M. Hartnet's sizzling "Safe for Work" office tryst and Cole Riley's moving "Same as it Ever Was" shows that makeup sex can be the start of something new and better. Dirty talk leads to lustful surprises and inspiration for the neighbors in "The Mitzvah" by Tiffany Reisz.
Editor Rachel Kramer Bussel notes that the lovers in this daringly romantic anthology are able to open up in the ways they do is precisely because they have another person to rely on, coax them, challenge them, tease them and seduce them into traveling down a new sexual path. Whether that means outdoor sex, kink, a trip to a strip club or a very sensual massage, we get to see how the layers of trust that have been built up get used to stoke the fire that burns between them.

The narration makes it worth it.
This was a very enjoyable listening experience as far as erotica goes. Typically you have to listen to just one narrator either doing the voices of both male and female, or worse, not doing voice work at all. By using both a male and female cast, the narrators lend an almost sense of realism to the stories and allow the listener to be pulled further into the tales.
The only downside to this is that you can tell it was not all recorded together, as the background noise changes between voice actors. However, this is the ONLY negative aspect to this work.
Spicy Vignettes for Two (or One)
Have you heard Avery's voice? Come on..... Deep, gravelly, wonderful.
Some of the voices I didn't care about, they got lost in the mix or just faded into the words they were saying, but I thought overall everyone did a great job. I can't imagine erotica is an easy genre to narrate well.
I would not generally consider myself an erotica fan because I frequently find the situations incredibly unrelatable and too far removed from reality to be properly enjoyed. I know some people want extreme fantasy, it just usually isn't my cup of tea for written erotica. While some of the stories are entirely unbelievable (but still hot, don't get me wrong), there are several gems in this compilation that I've already listened to a few times. I love the variety of couples featured in the stories, from new couples to those who have grown children and are rediscovering each other. I also greatly appreciate the range of situations; there is a story for everyone in this--sweet to smoldering and all very sexy.
I didn't listen to this with my husband, he's not too keen on non-visual erotica... yet. But he has definitely benefited from these stories.
