Different

More intricate than any of her previous stories this selection spends less time on erotica and more time on a setup as good or better than many books labeled as Romance. It relates an age difference romance between an older woman and the daughter of an old friend. Though this a cliche among both straight and gay writers the growing relationship is well told and creates an inevitability about the two ladies.
I loved this story and though I can't imagine 'gettin freaky' with any of my mother's friends, like most young lesbians I went through a period of fascination with women significantly older than I was. In most cases it was if not an outright mistake, then it was a temporary, short lived alternative to one night hookups; except for one. I had a six month relationship with a woman two years older than my mother that changed me in so many ways; I treasure that time in my life and all that I learned from her. It's possible that because of that I related to this story a bit too much so much so I've overrated it; to me it's a wonderful listen, you decide.
