Luckily I bought this as a full box set and on sale. Otherwise I would’ve been even more disappointed and frankly may not have picked up the next books to finish. I didn’t buy into the love story. There wasn’t the same connection you get out of so many other series. I’m not sure that the narration helped though as it seemed very monotonous. Frankly I kept thinking, “this is how it would probably sound if I read it aloud...”
This was my first book of hers. It was so amazingly descriptive and detailed. This erotic romance didn't disappoint. Can't wait to read more of hers. Was unsure of narrator at first, but she turned out to be really good.
The College Girl Virgin Cheyenne Grear becomes her tutor's (Damien Reed) submissive BUT after she losses her virginity that is & who else is there for her to do but her old school friend who has the biggest crush on her.
Here though I felt for him, as she was using him & bidding it to let Damien know that she want a virgin anymore & she can now
Sleep with him & gawd what a process she was going through with trying to win him over & he was trying to resist her 1st she was his student but 2ndly she was a lot younger than he was.
What can I say though other than this is Sky Corgan writing as HOT as ever with a beautiful love story with a HEA but with having the struggles, resistants & heartbreak of 2 people who are poles apart.
The Only bit I think that was missing was wondering why Damien couldn't handle being tied up & spanked, that's an area I would've loved to have a little insight of.
Sorry to say I Found narrator Megan Solessic had quite a dull monotone voice, even though she did try to lower & have 'exited' voice it just didn't quite hit the mark
There are quite a few, 'Me Too' attempts at 50 SOG in the world, few of which match up to the original. This one does!
Yes, our hero is quite well off and while not rich enough to own a helicopter, never the less lives in a big house.
Yes, the heroine is sweet, naive and young.
Yes, there is a 'contract', but it is a bit looser than Christian Grey's.
Thereafter though, the story is more believable and more varied, and really quite a lot more enjoyable!
