Publisher's Summary

Sex and emotions: a dangerous combination. Beware of what you wish for; it might just come true. Just a few moments earlier she had listened as Sir got dressed. She had never been blindfolded before.
Each time he stopped touching her and walked around the room mysteriously she anticipated where she would feel him next. It might be something sweet and slow like the warmth of his breath near her hips. Or it may be something sharp and short; the sting of his palm against her behind.
Before he left she'd listened to every move he made, picturing it all behind the soft satin of the blindfold. She'd heard the rustle of fabric. The zip of his jeans. His belt being buckled. The clip of his watch being fastened to his wrist. She'd listened as he gathered his belongings - saying not a single word to her - and strode heavily toward the door.
"Say thank you, slave."
"Thank you, Sir."
Part two, Darkness Illuminated, is also available now.

Love comes in mysterious ways!

What did you love best about Her Secret Submission?

Wow! My ears hurt from listening to this book for the last 5 hours! Such an enthralling story of a young woman who finds fulfillment in the most unconventional of relationships. I must confess I was skeptical about reading an erotica book but who looks gift horse in the mouth these days? Anyway, I absolutely loved the story line. Even from the early part of the story, one could tell that Alex was never in love with Jackson in a primal sort of way. She may have been content with him but never truly satisfied. It was endearing how she became liberated, bolder and transformed from the “Office Cinderella” to a sexy princess in the right mix of emotions.

I felt so bad for her as she pinned for “Sir” while he wasn’t there (obviously, he was trying hard not to get too attached to Alex). I also felt sorry for Jackson who even though he tried to be all he could, he just was never enough for Alex. Alex’s best friend Fiona was also a very wonderful character. We wish for best friends who will be there to break rules with us and slap us when we’re being silly.

It was a very well written story about complex emotions, a sensual unusual type of romance and very well-developed characters. This isn’t your average erotic novel about ropes and handcuff, this is a story of a woman who found romance in the most unusual of places. I cannot wait to start on the second book in the series. The last chapter was so dramatic that it was almost a let-down when it ended.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that it balanced the erotic genre with a proper story, a lot of that has been missing lately as authors churn out poorly researched clones of Fifty Shades. There was a building to the storyline that ended in a cliffhanger that leaves you wondering what going to happen next.

You also get so drawn into the characters that you find yourself wondering how it would feel like being in those circumstances. Who wouldn’t love to be discover their secret Master was one of the richest men in the world, give me a penthouse any day!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes! I would definitely listen to this book again, especially the last few chapters as Alex struggled to balance her feelings for Sir with her relationships with Fiona and Jackson. It’s also a welcome departure from the usual type of stories I’ve been used to in this genre.
