Gah! A Cliffy!

Narration - Stephanie Wyles and Chris Chambers - They did a really good job of narration. Both have nice voices to listen to and read at a good easy pace.

Gah! This Story! It took all the way til the end for our H&h to finally get together and then it ends on a cliffy! How long for the Season 2 Box set? :)

There are multiple POV's so it doesn't just go back and forth between Amy and Nate. I got confused on one chapter when all the sudden it was (I think) Olivia's POV. So there's more than just the story of Nate and Amy, although, I'm not sure why the other story line is in there. I'm assuming there will be more of that developed in the next Season.

Through this story, Amy and Nate are both interested in the other, but Nate doesn't date his employees and Amy thinks Nate hates her. There's plenty of sexual tension throughout. I'm completely sucked in, so I definitely want to read the next season now.

Finding Hope!

Amy works in a salon in Menlo Park but after 3 years of working there it closes the door leaving her jobless after finding out her boyfriend has been having cybersex with his ex. She's about to hit rock bottom until she gets a job at the hottest salon in town and owned by ex-model Nate Edwards. Amy tries to keep her distance because she feels like he's constantly watching her and she thinks he's watching her work and is afraid of losing her job. Nate thinks Amy's there for other reasons after he learns she's living at a property his parents own and thinks she's up to no good. Will Nate learn The truth? I love the author Aspen Drakes story. This isn't my normal genre but I could relate to Amy. I love how Aspen writes the story from different POV's from multiple characters. I loved the story but dang, I so hate cliffhangers. This is a quick and sexy story that's written extremely well.
Narrator's Stephanie Wyles and Chris Chambers did a great job with their narrating of this story. They made a great team. The story was fun and witty and these narrators brought it all out, making you feel as though you were there in the story.

This book had me hooked from the first chapter! I love books that have great character development, where you feel like you actually know the characters and they could be part of your group. This serial gave me that. From the very start, I felt like I was going into the salon and knew each person. The interaction between Nate and Amy, Olivia and Greg, Carly, Mason, Frankie...loved the whole thing. The narration of this book was well done, each having their own voice, and being able to tell them apart. The differences in the points of view also added a lot of depth.

This is highly recommended and I can't wait for season 2 to be released.

Awesome Cliffhanger!

I truly enjoyed this quick read. Sexy and funny. I'll definitely read and listen to the next set of books.

Why did you have to end!

This book is just one of those books you get hooked on, you will follow it thru all the spin off's that are made. In this book the main characters are Amy and Nate, but Olivia and Greg, Carly, Mason, Frankie are what make the book so entertaining. You will fall in love with the whole gang. This book has it all, its hot and sexy mixed with funny and witty, and a little angst to tie it all together.

This is Aspen's first audiobook and hope she keeps them coming.

A New Soap Opera in a Surprisingly Unique Format

In the great tradition of serial dramas such as Secret Storm, Dark Shadows, Guiding Light, Days of Our Lives. Peyton Place and General Hospital we have a soap opera in novel format. This is Fierce Salon, Season 1; Episodes 1-5. You can get these books in paperback, boxed sets, Kindle and Audible Audio Editions.

Aspen Drake has done a marvelous job with this smexy serial entitled Fierce Salon. Once you start, you won't be able to stop. Excellent charecters and this would make an amazing television serial drama. It may not be a telanovela yet but if any producers start reading this series it may just be oneday. I look forward to more reading and to continuing this excellent series.

Edge of Seat, Cliffhanger...

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I hate unknown cliffhangers, so I advise right from the start that this is a complete set. However, it does keep you on the edge of your seat and leave you wanting more.

This can become a great book series if the author continues. There are a whole group of well-developed characters that become very real to this listener - almost as a group of friends I just met and then getting to know them.

Narration: Dual narration can be tricky, especially with such a wide group of characters. There were times when I wasn't sure who was speaking and it took me a minute to catch up but overall Stephanie Wylse and Chris Chambers did a fantastic job and should continue with the series if Aspen Drake continues to write.

So good you'll want to scream

As an introduction I gotta say with all honesty that I am insanely glad that I bought season 2 of the series even though I hadn't even read the story. I'm so happy I did cuz yeah..worth it. Love the rakish former model..and his beautiful heroine..love Olivia and Mason and the entire cast of this series.

You won't read or hear it you will devour it utterly and want more..enjoy dear listener cuz the smooth male voice will haunt your dreams..
