Publisher's Summary

Samantha Kielty only thought she knew who she was and of what she was made. Until she was offered a position that would take her from her small office in San Antonio to that of her company's larger, more upscale headquarters in Dallas, Sam hadn't seen anything. Her new boss was not only intensely sexy; he was also about to show her things she had only read in books.
Logan McCoy's life is steady going until he set his sights on his new vice president of project operations. The woman makes his blood boil and makes him want things he didn't realize he was seeking. Logan only hopes Samantha is capable of handling his dominating, controlling ways…especially between the sheets or in the shower.
When Logan and Sam get together, sparks fly, and they bring out each other's deepest, darkest desires. He will push Sam past her sexual boundaries, and she will bring out his need to possess her in every way. But can they find love within the inferno that burns between them?
Warning! This book contains sinfully hot encounters between two--sometimes three and even four--consenting adults. Contains graphic material not suitable for anyone under the age of 18.

Logan Loves Logan

Conviction is supposedly an erotic love story about Samantha (30) and Logan (40). However, I found Logan too narcissistic and Sam's character too inconsistent to be entertaining.

Sam was introduced as an intelligent professional woman who didn't have a lot of sexual experience because she wasn't interested in casual sex. Then Sam's instant attraction to Logan magically transformed her into a wimp who allowed Logan (her new boss) to dominate her body and mind.

I thought Logan was a insensitive asshole only concerned with his own needs, who treated Sam more like a prostitute than a lover. Example; the 2nd time they have sex, Logan invites his brother to participate without discussing it with Sam. Logan insists he's doing her a favor, but really Logan just likes watching other men "pleasuring" his woman.

Logan's only redeeming quality was that he doesn't enjoy hitting women, like his twin brother Luke. Sam had potential to be interesting if she had a backbone and more spunk. The female narrator sounded extremely young and slightly whiny, which didn't help. Therefore I didn't much care how Conviction ended.

Any additional comments?

I've been meaning to start this series forever. I'm so glad that I finally did. My overall take is that the relationship gave me no true feelings or emotions, but the sex scenes propelled me to the moon. She has sex with her man and his identical twin repeatedly. Then his identical twin has sex with a man during one of their group orgies.
HELL, YES, PLEASE. I will definitely continue the series.
