A classic tale of a boy meets a girl, only in this case Sarah falls in love with her boss. As a maid she gets to do his laundry, cook his meals, and offer him the affection that he lacks from his spouse. They skillfully master the art of sneaking around until Sarah finds out that she is pregnant. Her life takes a drastic turn, and she instantly becomes rich and lives among the wealthy. Although her boss is almost double her age, Sarah does not love him for his money or his status. She falls in love with his heart of gold and caring and nurturing nature toward her. She is forced to resign as a maid in his household since she cannot perform her maid duties while pregnant. The two of them decide to keep the pregnancy a secret, but it isn't easy for Sarah, especially with the way her friends keep probing her for information. She knows that her lover had a hard time conceiving with his wife and that their marriage is practically on the rocks; that explains why Nick has a hard time telling his wife about Sarah's bun. Sarah knows that Nick's wife is a wretched woman but understands why Nick does not want to hurt her feelings. After battling with the decision for quite some time, Sarah dares to tell her on her own; it is a bold and foolhardy move, perhaps reckless, but Sarah is tired of being the hidden mistress.
Will Sarah go through with it? Face the evil woman all by herself and watch the priceless look on her face when she realizes that her husband sired a child with the help? Or will she keep her cool, listen to Nick, and let Nick handle it just as he said he will?
