Short and sweet!
Would you listen to Bear's Pup again? Why?
Yeah, maybe as more of the series comes out.
What about Darcy Stark’s performance did you like?
His reading was wonderfully nuanced, the characters performed nicely so that I was always clear on what was happening and who it was that was talking. I'm excited to hear what he's done with the next books in the series. I liked that the minor characters in this first book already seem to have their own voices. In looking ahead to see what the other books are about, I'm hoping to hear these soon to be major characters sounding the same in the continuity.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I really enjoyed this book a lot! A story like this isn't made up of much so it goes really fast. I think I got through it in two sittings. There are no profound thoughts or observations on...well...anything. Be that as it may, for what it is, I'm happy to give it 5 stars across the board. It's all happily ever after fluff.
Any additional comments?
The rescue for hire world is idealized beyond realty, of course. All the men are big and built like tanks, they all have "size" to spare, all their partners are basically girls in the bodies of tiny weak boys. I love a good sexy story completely outside reality, so if you enjoy conversations that no one has ever had in real life, inaccurate "details" about the "rescue" profession, someone literally scraping a knee and suddenly not being able to walk, not to mention copious amounts of sex sex sex, then totally get this! I'm so entertained I can't wait to start into the second book! It's worth paying for for the sheer entertainment value! It's awesome to have more than one released at the same time!

Enjoyable Story.
Even though this was a short story, It was an enjoyable story to listen to. I would have liked a storyline to have been added for them to become fathers. I love M/M Shifter, Mpreg books. But, even w/o that, It was an enjoyable story. I liked all the characters, especially the 2 main ones. Darcy did a great job with this narration of all characters. If your looking for a quick nice little story, I recommend this.
