Funny and beautiful

This author knows how to incorporate funny, sexy and loving moments into a book.

As always, Andi Adarnt nails it as the narrator. she is one of my go to narrators.

Definitely worth the credit and i listened to it in just two settings.

I laughed out loud and cried. So much of this story I could relate too especially with the long distance. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book.

sweet, heart warming, loving story

The story in the beginning was so predictable that I was wishing for it to end. BUT!!! I was pleasantly mistaken. The story is way too involving than a simple "drunk dial HEA". Loved the way the story developed and became quite involving. Watching the characters unfold with their pasts unfolding too was worth the wait.

The narrator did a perfect job as she always does.

Don't expect to find "hot hot hot" steamy scenes. I wished it had more!! Expect to find a very well written story right to the end.

Definitely worth the credit. Enjoy!

Not what you expect

What made the experience of listening to Drunk Dial the most enjoyable?

Between the narrator and the overall story line you will enjoy this one. There are twists at the end that you will definitely not fully see coming.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The male lead was my favorite. He has the most developed background and seeking atonement that comes full circle. You are rooting for him throughout the book.

What about Andi Arndt’s performance did you like?

I like that she was able to cover both characters without making it irritating or trying to hard to split between and masculine and feminine voice.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

You will laugh and cry. It's really well written and the story line is really good. The last quarter of the book will really surprise you compared to the sweet tone in the first half of the book. The characters life comes full circle together which makes for an interesting read.

Any additional comments?

You will definitely root for these two which makes it worth your time to read.

Beautiful, wonderful, and funny

This was everything I expected (having read this author several times already) and everything I could have asked for. The slow build-up was well written and drew me in completely. Landon and Rhona fit well and compliment each other nicely. The ending/epilogue tied up the story in a way that felt honest, complete, and not too sweet. HEA for sure.

i really did enjoy this book. i like the way that he heroine isn't your average girl and it wasnt a sexfest like the usual in this genre. dont get me wrong there were a lot of hot and steamy scenes in there but it wasnt a jump your bones at first sight and every 2nd page kind of story. it really built up the relationship and the backgrounds. only thing i didnt love is how the end was "packaged" so neatly. i think it could have either kept going or could have ended a bit more interestingly and less predicable.

I really enjoyed this one! Perfect for a long road trip. I've loved all of the books I've read by this author and listening to the audiobook version was no different. Andi does a great job of reading this story.

LOVED IT!

Another “knock it outta the park” story from this author. I love love love how these stories always seem to come around back to the beginning. That just leaves me feeling so so happy! I laughed, cried and am in awe of Landon. This is going on my favorites list.

There is quite a story between these two. While I like the female MC-Landon just blew me away. His story is something but its his attitude that I cant get enough of. That first date with her!!!!! Sooo creative!! His will and dedication to create the job he has just impressed me. I loved really just everything about him.

I loved these individual jobs that each of these characters have. Not high end but different and yet they get the character by. I want to give a mention to her father. His accent and his thoughts and words really make him a wonderful secondary character. Having him voiced by Andi Arndt just leveled him up. She did a wonderful job on each of these characters actually.

So many funny parts and a great love story! I’m pretty positive Andi Arndt is the only narrator that can pull off the male and female parts. I’m so glad I bought this during the sale.

I loved this book so much, I listen to the audio and it was amazing!Perfect narrator and the story was fantastic!Penelope Ward delivers an emotional,intense and steamy story!



I fall in love with Rana and Landon and their relationship!Nothing was rushed everything happened so naturally and it was realistic.They have an amazing chemistry.There were some really hot moments between them that make me swoon and I loved that I listen to the audio it makes the story more intimidate!

I really enjoyed this second chance love story about two friends who reunite after some years and fall in love.
