Publisher's summary

The judgment of an untested president is all that stands between us and WWIII.

As Soviet nuclear missiles move ever closer to Cuba, President John F. Kennedy must chart a course between conflicting counsel and unparalleled emotional stakes to prevent nuclear annihilation. Includes a panel discussion about the Cuban Missile Crisis with playwright David Rambo; Bob Stern, the past president of the LA-based Center on Governmental Studies; Richard Anderson, a professor of political science at UCLA and former CIA analyst; and Geoff Cowan, a university professor at USC.

We Need a Jack Kennedy, again!

I’m a Republican, generally a moderate conservative. But I’ve always admired Jack Kennedy. He wasn’t a perfect human. He had his flaws as history has revealed (as other Presidents have had). But he was first and foremost a patriot who valued what our country stands for. His careful, contemplative, and reasoned approach to the Cuban Missile Crisis saved the world from nuclear Armageddon. This dramatic retelling of the events of those days should be listened to by most Americans. It’s an excellent performance!

My hope and prayer is that our current administration will be up to this task…but I don’t believe that our President, Vice President, or Cabinet are of the same mettle as existed in the Cuban Missile Crisis. Unfortunately the world is again faced with the open aggression of the Russians against a world that desires peace. Let’s hope, somehow, we again avoid the abyss.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
