The story was very bland, very predictable and didn't even try to be original.

I was super excited based on the title and description and there was so much potential but it fell flat. I was not impressed at all. At least the narrator wasn't terrible or I would have quit listening. Boring!

I received this book free in return for an unbiased review.

Brilliant!!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I already have! This book is outside of what i normally read or listen to but it had the ability to grab my attention and hold it from beginning to end.

I'm not one to spoil anything for anyone so I'm going to say there were many moments that i felt were memorable. But if you want to know there is only one way take a listen.

Have you listened to any of Paul Rogan and Punch Audio ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, but i will be seeking out more of his work.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Any additional comments?

Rather short but exceptionally clever, more than enough to keep you happy, this is an amazing book. Filled with magic and dragons. A young spell caster saves a dragon, he is then chosen to be their ally. This book does not take it's self to seriously but in a good way. This book has me looking forward to diving in the the rest of the series.

a great read!

I love this story! I usually don't leave reviews for my daughter's books - I just screen them before she listens but this was a great little twisted tale!

Great short story

A young spell castor saves a dragons life and in return is brought into the secret realm of the dragons. He is then chosen to become their ally and agrees to help the get back an artifact that the king stole from them long ago.
This book is a fantastic and magical prequel to a classic tale. I really enjoyed the learning about how the spell castor came into his position of power and to be know as Merlin. I was also really entertained by the interactions between the spell castor and the dragons. The story was adventurous with a bit of humor thrown in.
The narrator did an amazing job especially with the voices of the dragons. This was a great production of a short story.

I would like to thank the author/narrator/publisher for generously providing me with a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an unbiased and honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
