Narrators destroyed the heroine's accent
Why, why, why did the narrators give the heroine, who is Chicago-born half-Italian American weird accents?!?!?! Ugh. Noah Michael Levine made her sound Latina, and Natasha Soudek gave her an eastern European accent. It's SO distracting! Not to mention inaccurate. She would sound American with a Chicago accent, because she IS American. i wouldn't even care if the Chicago wasn't there, so long as no one was butchering an Italian accent
I'm only 25% into the book. I'll update the overall and story ratings when I finish, but this is driving me nuts. I may have to just read it on Kindle. Other than the terrible accent, I enjoy the Noah's voice.
