Publisher's summary

Crashing the chatterbox = Overpowering lies of insecurity, fear, condemnation, and discouragement with the promises of God.

“I used to think that someone who struggled with the kinds of weaknesses I deal with daily was useless to God. I felt so often like I was drowning in internal dialogue I couldn’t control. It had been the soundtrack of my life for as long as I could remember.

Yet everything changed when I began to realize God has given us the ability to choose the dialogue we believe and respond to. And once we learn how, we can switch from lies to truth as deliberately as we can choose the Beatles over Miley Cyrus on satellite radio.

This is the key to pressing ahead and doing God’s will anyway, even as you are bombarded with thoughts, feelings, and even facts about why you can’t do it.

Life changing!

The Chatterbox Series has helped me more than I can say in deciphering God's voice from Satan's. I have now come to realize how much Satan dominates my thoughts and how I need to be still and silent and listen to hear God's voice. Please keep up the amazing work God has placed on your heart Stephen. Sincerely Dr. Cameron Campbell

What a positive book to help build a person confidence up and keep the little voice of distractions and put down away. Love how if focus on the love that Christ Jesus has for each of us.

Disappointed

I thought with the overwhelmingly positive reviews, that this book would be amazing. However, the language was overly informal, strange (as if there was an inside joke that I was not getting), and it began assuming that I knew the life story of the author. Is this just a book form of his sermon series - meant for his congregation?

And the reading was robotic and unfriendly. I immediately did not enjoy listening to it.

fantastic

honest, exceptional content. I think that many people deal with the chatterbox silently. furtic is open and it is refreshing to hear of someone else dealing with this common issue.

Came to me at the right time

I picked this audio book by the title not really knowing what it was about. Once I started listening I couldn't stop. This came to me at exactly the time I needed it. Struggles with children with family with work. It just makes sense, thank you so much Steven for sharing your thoughts and wisdom, God bless!

Life Changing

Steven Furtick's book, Crash the Chatterbox, has been an incredibly powerful book that has helped me though the year of 2015. It's been a difficult year for me (suffering with Anxiety and Depression through Bible College on the other side of the world without family by my side) but this book has been such an encouragement for me with such practical tools to over come the Chatterbox. I feel like a new person with a bigger fighting power within me to Crash the Chatterbox.
It was particularly awesome to listen to it on Audible as I'm not a quick reader so I was able to listen to Steven read the book to me which made his stories feel so much real.
I would highly recommend this book to everyone I know.

Worth every minute

Steven Furtick is spot on with this book. Our family has read and listened to Sun Stand Still and Greater. We are glad to have this book as an addition to our tool box. They have facilitated many discussions with our pre-teen and
teenage children.
