been struggling with this for a while so it came in handy big time .

The Dating Vacuum

To say that when I purchased this book that I was skeptical is putting it mildly. I am 65 years old. I was married for 36 years but I've been out of the dating scene for more than 40 years. The women I am going to be dating are probably not going to be at a bar or a night club to meet men. Therefore my resources were going to be really scanty. I feel like I am entering a dating vacuum. I joined Match.com and my resource pool expanded immensely with the click of a computer key. I met three women in person in my first week on the site and dated one of them once. But something was wrong. I was getting a good many views i.e., of my profile but almost no follow through from them or even a response when I initiated contact. I knew the problem was with me but of course I had no idea what exactly was wrong.

My skepticism disappeared after the first chapter. I feared this would be a book filled with superficial gimmicks to trick a woman in order to get a date. I expected it to be shallow, and maybe even callous towards women and their feelings. This book was anything but shallow or callous! Immediately the author tells the reader that as men we must take responsibility for our interaction with women. I immediately began to feel like this book might actually be beneficial for solving my "ME" problem. The book focuses on men adapting to the situation by changing himself. I found the information logical, straight forward, and easy to digest and implement. Before I had finished the book I went to my Match.com profile, erased what I had written and replaced it with information following the guidelines in chapter 5. By the time I finished the book and began to write this review I had received a view and then a "like" notification from a good looking woman. I think the material in this book will help me to change myself into the type of man women want to know and to date.

Advanced Conversation Tactics

Solid tips for enhancing conversations with anyone. While the audio quality might be improved, the practical tips with examples make it worth a listen. For the price, you get more than expected.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, but that's meaningless to me. I listened to it daily until it became part of my normal routine and put me into the right "mode" for approaching women. This is not a pick up book. It peels away what type of person you are and how you think of women and how you think of yourself.

Any additional comments?

I'm glad I did not listen to some of the reviews that spoke about things like the quality of audio and blah, blah, blah... That's completely irrelevant. The key elements of this book are way deeper than just one-liners. It goes way beyond the initial conversation and deeper, like understanding a man's relationship to how he thinks of woman. Are you a victim? Are you pissed at your life and blame women? That wasn't me, but the point was that it starts from within before you can just go out and approach women. The biggest advice I can given anyone in relation to this book is that you need to take massive action right away.

Now I know what I was doing wrong

I refuse to be in the friend zone, I will improve my self and my mind set, there is no challenge I won't conquer . your book has open my mind to endless possibilities, I've been with super hot women and now I realize where everything went wrong .I'm going to make it my business to love women more to make great and better connections to a more happy life. this book of freedom is perfect that made me realize that I was afraid to make the approach and guiding the women I was interested into my life.

Must read for fellow introverts

The author offered some thoughtful insights into the world of dating and conversation. highly recommend.

What did you like best about Conversation Casanova? What did you like least?

The good: Example and some clear story about practical experience "on the field".
The bad: This only 50% of the book, the rest is the standard: take action, have confidence, NLP, position, don't get too involved, standard man mindset to get the right women.

great book with great advice!

i love that Dave narrated this audio book i feel it's always better when the author does their own book. the thing i struggle with its pouring the advice into action. the action tips are great. the challenge especially with an audio book is remembering them and doing them a printable work sheet with daily challenges would be a great addition Dave thanks for all the work.
