Wow!!!

I’ve listened to this twice now and as heart wrenching as some parts are, it is truly a story of redemption and what miracles can happen when we choose God’s way over our own. Even when it’s hard and makes no sense from our limited perspective.

powerful

This is a well written powerful story. A different narrator would have made it even better.

Good Story But Bizarre Presentation

This story takes a while to get going, but once you get to around Chapter 7, it gets better. Unfortunately, the audio book narration is not good. Every character presented, even the male characters, sound like either Betty Boop or some variation of an elderly Katherine Hepburn.

Good book

This is a good book by Francine Rivers. A little cheesy and cliche at times but an easy listen and good lesson in it. I do wish the end had been a little more detailed and some of the character’s stories would have been wrapped up more fully. I agree with the other reviews that the narrator is not appropriate for this work: Ruth Ann Phimister is a great narrator but considering the book is mainly from the POV of a late teens-early twenty some women it seems odd to have an older voice narrating. Overall I would recommend it but not my favorite Rivers novel.

Amazing book about abortion

In this day and age where Roe v Wade is being brought back up in court. This book gives you an honest look at what people go through when faced with this issue! A true test of Faith and God’s love!

loved story

Loved it,
the narrator was horrible, sounded like a old woman or child. Love how she include God and his word.

Jesus our Atonement !

The narrator's excellent reading enhanced the excellence of the story and it's deeper meanings. Exposes the readers own thoughts and emotions and prejudices and ultimately leads us to gratitude and praise of our Savior and God.

Perfect

Francine Rivers is amazing. This book will educate in many ways. The author has taught me to look at controversy in a whole new way. Her knowledge of scripture and way of tying it into the stories she writes brings a new spiritual outlook to my life. You will never think of abortion in the same way after reading this story.
