Publisher's summary

Socially Accepted is a book uniquely written for those who struggle in the art of being social. Being socially accepted is based on the idea of presence - to be able to walk confidently to any man or woman - and instantly build rapport through the creation of a meaningful connection. Capitalizing on the power of being socially accepted can lead to many great opportunities - such as new friends, lovers, job prospects and more - that may have otherwise not been possible if you suffer from a weak social presence and identity. However, the greatest benefit of being socially accepted is knowing you have maximized all the opportunities for personal growth and satisfaction along this journey we call life.

Useful, but a bit shallow

Very short. About 4 hr total audio. Book is entirely pickup advice. Some of the advice is good and this book will be helpful to some. However most of it is stuff you could get for free online.

All audio is read by the author, presumably on a single take. Author comes across as a bit of a jerk and very manipulative. One of the chapters is on how you should lie and one of the tips is on how to push past the fact a girl has a boyfriend. Author is clearly knowledgeable socially, but is pretty dense otherwise. A lot of the advice is pulled from pop culture, the internet, and youtube. Kind of sounds like he's padding for words occassionally.

Funny

Guy is kind of an ass, but it made me laugh a lot, so overall I really enjoyed it. I would recommend it to someone probably trying to get a gf, I'm not sure about being social with coworkers.

I would not listen to this.

Even if it was the last audio book on Earth. save your time. This "author" is not a good role model.
