Publisher's Summary

Goon but not forgotten. From 1952 to 1960 the Goons ruled the airwaves, the most celebrated and influential clowns in the history of radio. Here's another crazy quartet of cult comedy classics from those wireless wizards Peter Sellers, Spike Milligan, and Harry Secombe. This collection features "Lurgi Strikes Britain", "The International Christmas Pudding", "Napoleon's Piano", and "The Flea".

Long Goon, like a turkey through the corn

Milligan's special genius, coupled with that of Peter Sellers and Harry Secombe. The comedy mania that paved the way for Monty Python, and influenced a generation, to their lasting detriment. Experience it for yourself, through the magic of mp3. You won't regret it, though your family and friends will.

Still gloriously funny.

Unless you are "of a certain age" (sadly I am!) it is undeniably true that parts of these shows seem dated. Even I find the musical interludes too much and fast forward through them. If you ignore these minor quirks you will be rewarded with some truly glorious, anarchic comedy. True comic geniuses at work and an absolute joy to listen to.
