Comedian, activist, and hugely popular culture blogger at AwesomelyLuvvie.com Luvvie Ajayi serves up necessary advice for the masses in this hilarious book of essays.

With over 500,000 readers a month at her enormously popular blog, AwesomelyLuvvie.com, Luvvie Ajayi is a go-to source for smart takes on pop culture. I'm Judging You is her debut book of humorous essays that dissects our cultural obsessions and calls out bad behavior in our increasingly digital, connected lives. It passes on lessons and side-eyes on life, social media, culture, and fame, from addressing those terrible friends we all have, to serious discussions of race and media representation, to what to do about your fool cousin sharing casket pictures from Grandma's wake on Facebook.

With a lighthearted, razor sharp wit and a unique perspective, I'm Judging You is the handbook the world needs, doling out the hard truths and a road map for bringing some "act right" into our lives, social media, and popular culture. It is the Do-Better Manual.

I have NEVER laughed so hard

This book was like hanging out with my friend. I found myself nodding and clapping, inspired and jovial. I can't wait to buy a physical copy of this book so I can share it with EVERYONE!

Good advice for all--adults, that is .

If you care about our world, our values, and how we treat one another, this book is for you! I am 75+ years old and this book was written for a far younger age group. I listened to learn more about the world as my grandchildren in their 20's experience it. Very helpful! I didn't like the profanity, but the author expresses herself well otherwise, with stories and examples to make her points. She narrates with enthusiasm for her subject and if you're honest, you'll feel "judged" at least once.

Not all that

May be eye-opening for ignorant teenagers, but not funny, nor insightful for a grown-up woman

A very detailed rant

Overall the book was good if you are interested in hearing all that's wrong with people. ( that's what this book is all about)
It was well thought out and categorized which was great. I honestly only read it because of my book club and I generally don't read books like this but I digress.
It wasn't a page turner for me so thank God for Audible and long commutes.

I do side eye many of the things she points out so essentially this book expressed what most people feel others need to stop doing.

Judge Away Chile!

Would you listen to I'm Judging You again? Why?

Yes! The perspectives that Luvvie gave are worth listening to again. This book can serve as a reference to have on deck whenever I judge somebody or catch myself doing the things she talked about. So much insight in a non-finger shaking grandma way.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Luvvie, duh!

What about Luvvie Ajayi’s performance did you like?

Her Nigerian influences

Pretty good.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

This book was good and there were definitely some laugh out loud moments. If you're a fan of her blog then you will like this book. They're similar writing styles.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I love that the author narrated her own story but, i felt like sometimes she wasn't speaking clearly.

Was I'm Judging You worth the listening time?

Of course. I did feel a bit long at times.

Side-eye Hilarity!!!

I laughed from intro to epilogue. The author is perfect narrating with her comedic made up words and real life stories.
