Publisher's Summary

From #1 New York Times best-selling humorist Jill Conner Browne comes a hilarious life maintenance program designed to help women navigate our hyper-visual society's obsessions with body image, clothing, and personal appearance. Getting and keeping that Queenly Look is no small feat - a good portion of our lives is devoted to our hair, our skin tone, our figure flaws, and our clothes. Now that the first official Baby Boomer has started collecting Social Security, the Sweet Potato Queen comes to the rescue as we pursue that elusive Fountain of Youth.

Good, but not her best

What does Jill Conner Browne bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her accent is the best part. She says everything just right.

Any additional comments?

I love Jill Conner Browne, all of her books, and listening to her talk. This book, as in her other books, was filled with wonderful stories and great recipes. The only thing that I found disappointing about this book was that since I have listened to a lot of her other books, some of the stories I had heard before.

Just Admit It

If you can admit that you are never going to see your 30s again and even your 40s are quickly waning away. You will love this book. It starts a bit dark but there is humor in everything as we quickly learn.Life is never what we expect and I guess it is all in how you approach it. She approaches it with the idea that there is always something to laugh at. She asks the important questions like "why do you ask the fashion opinion of someone who dresses like a tree and and wears Eau D'Buck, during hunting season?'
I have loved all of her books this one is no exception. Enjoy.
