Editorial Reviews

Few stories have held such a grip on the public consciousness as H. G. Wells’ The Time Machine. And yet Wells’ original 1895 novel remains an unread treat for most fans of science fiction.
At a dinner party, an unnamed English scientist reveals that he’s created a machine that allows him to travel the "fourth dimension". The "Time Traveler" (as he’s called) relates a story about his travels to the year AD 802,701 where he meets two races: the passive Eloi and the aggressive Morlocks. When the Time Traveler discovers his time machine stolen, he must steal it back from the Morlocks.
Walter Zimmerman and Jim Roberts offer measured performances, their voices rising as the tension spikes in this spell-binding feat of imagination.

Interesting and engaging story!

Any additional comments?

It was a quick, engaging and enjoyable experience. Not only is it a classic, but it also makes you think about human nature. It's definitely worth a listen. I think the narrator did a fine job.
