Great read, bad quality of recording...
I loved this book and the narrator wasn't bad either. But, you can hear someone else doing a recording of the same book in a separate room and it is very distracting. It's almost as if there's an echo. It drove me crazy.

Poor sound-quality mars a classic tale
H G Wells's bitter satire on the human condition is timeless, though inspired by contemporary public revulsion at vivisection. He strains to find any real difference between the repellent beast-folk created by the mad scientist Moreau and mankind as a whole, settling ultimately for the fact that a man can tell lies.
The narrator's voice is expressive and pleasing, but for quality reasons this abridgement cannot be wholeheartedly recommended.
