One of The Best Novels That I Have Ever Read, Many Foreign Words
This is an excellent novel. The audiobook is also excellent. However it is neither a light reading or listening experience. I purchased a Kindle and audiobook and read and listened simultaneously. I am very glad that I did so. The audiobook is very clear and faithful to the text, but there are many names and phrases in both French and Latin. I was very glad that I could read and listen. This is not a criticism, merely an advanced notice. Thank You...

This has become my favorite book. It is really heady and has a sad ending though. I first read it when I was 12, but most people should wait longer.
