Publisher's Summary

Joseph Millson and Jessica Raine star in a brand new BBC Radio 4 full-cast dramatisation of the books in John Galsworthy's saga of the Forsyte family spanning 50 years.
The books To Let and The White Monkey, follow the fortunes of Fleur Forsyte, played by Jessica Raine, the young wealthy daughter of Soames. As she embraces all the experiences of the early 1920s, an archetypal Bright Young Thing, Soames, cautious of the modern, attempts to protect his daughter from the dangers of the new age.

Excellent acting

What did you like most about The Forsytes Continue?

I liked the way that Fleur was the narrator as well as being part of the story.

What did you like best about this story?

I enjoyed the continuation of the story from the first series and I'm waiting impatiently for the final installment to be released on audible.

Have you listened to any of Jessica Raine and Joseph Millson ’s other performances? How does this one compare?

Only in the previous installment of this series where they were obviously just as good as as in this one.

Any additional comments?

I really only listen to dramatisations on audible and I think it's important that when there is more than one series of something that audio carry all of them, otherwise one is left with only half of a story. I've noticed that sometimes only some series are available, and interestingly on occasion only the second series of something not the first. I hope that audible will soon have the final series of The Forsytes.
