Publisher's summary

When America’s first President, George Washington, was 13 years of age, he penned 110 rules of civility. Some believe he was simply transcribing something he had read, but no one seems to know exactly what that may have been. This provides a glimpse at the early days of his character development. Narrated by Glenn Hascall.

Where did civility go?

Find all you need, next to the Bible, to teacher polite behavior to the generations that have never been taught.

Awesome

Brilliant, I wish all Americans were like this. Every American should read and abide by this.

I like etiquette. Coming from Washington, sublime!

it is always good to keep in mind all of the subtle things we unintentionally do in company. If everyone respected others while they were in public, it is an obvious result that no one person would ever feel disrespected. It will always take work to be respectful, but it is always appreciated when done in earnest righteously.

Washington’s life rules

Narration: clear and appropriately measured. Baritone sound enhances gravitas.

Content: sensible guides to human conduct. Too bad trump knows nothing of them, or, if he does, too bad for us he chooses to ignore them.

Way too short

I wasn’t a fan but it’s good info on the 1700 etiquette of our founding fathers
