Listen if you want a good laugh
I think if Jane Austen listened to this she'd be simultaneously amused and mortified. it's definitely the Pride and Prejudice story, made into a telenovela. The performers were great, the story stays mostly true to the original with a lot of abridgment. But what had me both laughing and rolling my eyes was the intense dramatics. The passion and hysterics were a bit over the top for the story, and the background music was hysterical. If you want to hear the original Austen novel, skip this one. but if you want a dramatized, abridged version - then this one is for you.
